I don’t miss Atta Mills – Rawlings

Ghana’s former President John Jerry Rawlings has stated that he does not in any way miss his onetime bosom friend and former President John Evans Atta Mills.
The late President, who fell out with his former boss, died in July 2012 when Ghana was preparing for parliamentary and presidential elections.
He was replaced by his Vice, John Mahama, who led the NDC into victory in the general elections.
Speaking to GHOne’s Nana Aba Anamoah in an exclusive interview, the former military ruler said Mills promised to reward people who insulted and fabricated things about him (Rawlings) with jobs.
“No, I don’t miss him at all and I would take off my glasses for you to see my face…when I look at him [Mills] and look at this John [Mahama] there have a few commonalities but this John [Mahama] did not line up people on the promise of a job when you insult and fabricate things against me, wife and my family as Mills did. This one has not done that but that is not to say that I don’t think that he is also not going astray,” former President Rawlings said.
MY WHAT I KNOW.
Egya Atta-Mills might not be here today, but the facts and what a lot of folks know shall speak for itself.
When the Chiefs of Southern Volta went to Rawlings, what he said was the problem between him and the late Mills was that Mills refused to give appointments to the people that he Rawlings chose.
Rawlings further stated that he no longer has access to the ears of Mills and for that matter he no longer has his directives implemented.
We the Chiefs then went to Mills to find out the truth on the insistence of Rawlings. Mills said his only fault was that his wife was said to have disrespected Nana Konadu at Ada at a function Nana Konadu asked her security to refuse usage of the red carpet by the Second Lady Naadu Mills, and that he Mills only gave appointments to only nine of the twenty-one man list Rawlings brought.
No mention was made of what Rawlings has put out today. It was Rawlings who was insulting Mills, Kofi Awoonor, Kojo Tsikata, Obed Asamoah, Mahama Iddrissu, P.V. Obeng and saying things that undermined the faith of Mahama Iddrissu.
Posterity will judge this evil man, and should we be surprised at Rawlings not missing a man he killed by his constant insults when he and Kofi Adams, Spio Garbrah knew the health of the President suffers from those actions of theirs?
No, we wont.
WHEN CHILDREN OF HATERS WOULD NOT LET GO.
On Saturday the 12th of March, 2016, I was in Agbozume for the installation and outdooring of the Overload or the FIAGA of SOME, Makorsor Togbi Adamah iii.
I then wrote a piece on the event and posted some pictures to magnify the occasion.
To my surprise, I stepped on the royal toes of one young man who goes by the name Elikem Secku.
My misdemeanor was I wrote SOME, instead of what the owner of the land would want me to put out, which to him is SOMEY.
This young man put out a comment and to quote him, (as he deleted the post), “dont you ever write SOME for SOMEY again.”
The young man, Elikem Secku wants the whole world to know he wont let go the hurt that still lives in his heart. Their generation still believes they’ve been robbed of their birthright. The bile in them, the venom in them wouldn’t let them give in to the falsity of their beliefs. So he found a valve to let go some steam that is chocking him by trying to tell me I, Doe Kofi Adamah, do not know my culture and the traditions of my people and kinsmen. Their regrettable actions which do not merit a mention here will always come back to haunt them. Their grandfathers did same and paid dearly for it with their pitiful lives. We live in a different dispensation today. So they help nature by letting sleeping lions lie.
I want somebody to tell Elikem Secku to research and reference properly and thoroughly before he comes out next time to put out his ignorance in a matter that is in the bosom of a Royal. The nuances of the Children of Nukpornuku was fed me from childhood. I do not have the need to read written accounts from anyone today.
I would like Elikem Secku to go read the accounts of KAKABIKU, the departed historian and Scribe of the Some State whose publications and chronicles capture the true picture of who the Some’s are.
And for the records I feature a picture which was the Official portrait of FIAGA TOGBI ADAMAH II, King of Some, as captured and officially used in all publications and official records of the Some ( SONUME ) State with the correct textum of the name of my people.

At a brief but most significant ceremony yesterday, the 12th day of March, 2016, Kingmakers of the Some Stool concluded all necessary rituals and activities that paved way for the introduction of Togbi Adamah III, as the Makorsor of Some. (SONUME) to the Some Dua and Fiadufea.
The function which was held at the forecourt of the Makorsor Palace at Agbozume was attended by a number of Paramountcies headed by their traditional overlords.
From Ziope Traditional Area came the Fiaga Togbi Bimi. He is also a member of the Council of State. The Fiaga of Aflao Traditional Area, Adzonugaga Togbi Fiti was in attendance too. Togbi Addo, Fiaga of Klikor Traditional Area chaired the function.
Togbi Akaba, Fia of Anyako and Togbi Atsiane, Fia of Agbozume also graced the occasion and steered the affairs to a wonderful end.
